Why would you use a Family Group?
- You have a family member who would benefit from using PocketSmith, and you want to pay for their subscription at a discounted rate.
- You have a family member who is already using PocketSmith, and you want to cover their PocketSmith subscription and get a better discount.
-
You want to have multiple PocketSmith accounts for managing different things and want simplified billing with a better discount.
For example, you may want to have a PocketSmith account for your personal finances and a separate one for managing your:
- joint finances with a partner
- finances related to a property or other asset
- side-hustle or small business finances
- You are a financial advisor and want to pay for your client's PocketSmith subscription
📝 Note
The Family group's members and managers do not share Pocketsmith data. A family group is solely for PocketSmith subscription billing.
If you want to share access to your PocketSmith account, you should look at the Advisor Access feature, as shown in this guide: Shared access on your PocketSmith account.
What is the discount?
When you add a member to your family group, you will receive a 40% discount on a monthly subscription for this family member.
This even beats the annual plan pricing, which has a 33% discount (when compared to the standard monthly subscription).
Family Group manager
The family group manager administers the family group and can:
- Invite members to the Family Group
- Change members' subscription plans while they are in the Family Group
