Family Group: Managing members

Manage your Family Group by choosing the members' PocketSmith plan, removing members and more.

Viewing your Family Group members

Go to Family Group Discounts (👤 Profile menu > Family Group Discounts) to view the current members of your family group.

You can see the following details about a Family Group member when they are invited:

Their status New = invited, Active = joined family group
The nickname you gave them
Their email address that you invited
The subscription plan name they are on and the price
Your nickname that they see
When the subscription will be next charged
The last time the family member accessed PocketSmith

Changing a Family Group member's plan, display name, or invite email

You can change the subscription plan, display names, or invite email for members of your Family Group at any time.

Go to Family Group Discounts (👤 Profile menu > Family Group Discounts) to view the current members of your family group
Click Edit on the member who's subscription plan you want to adjust
Adjust any of the fields as needed
Click SAVE

Removing a Family Group member

If you no longer want to pay for the subscription of a Family Group member, you can remove them by cancelling their subscription.

Go to Family Group Discounts (👤 Profile menu > Family Group Discounts) to view the current members of your family group
Click Edit on the member who's subscription plan you want to adjust
Click CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION
Click CONFIRM if you are sure you want to remove them from the Family Group

Family Group members who remove themselves

A member might remove themselves from the Family Group by deciding to pay for a PocketSmith subscription themselves or by deleting their PocketSmith account.

Downgrading to a Free plan

If you downgrade to the Free plan, your payment details will be removed from PocketSmith, and you will be unable to pay for subscriptions within your Family Group.

Invoices for Family Group subscriptions

The invoices for the Family Group subscriptions you are paying for will show in the same place as the invoices for your own PocketSmith subscription, but in a section below.
