Importing your Home Accountz files into PocketSmith

Important

When importing data from another app, we recommend using a fresh PocketSmith account to avoid creating duplicate bank accounts.

If you have just started your PocketSmith journey and already have some data in your account, it's best to reset your PocketSmith before attempting to import data from your previous Personal finance management app.

For details on restarting your account, see: Options for resetting your PocketSmith account.

Now you have your CSV files from Home Accountz, and you can then import these into PocketSmith.

  1. From the Welcome screen, select Bring your own data > Upload files from your bank or click this link to open the quick importer directly: Quick importer.
  1. Follow the instructions in the quick importer to import the individual CSV files for each of your accounts.
    1. For more details on this importing process, check out the following guide: Importing bank files from the welcome page.

  1. Your accounts and transactions from Home Accountz have now been imported into PocketSmith 🎉
