Grouped accounts: Caveats and tips

Though it isn't recommended, if you do decide you would like to group actively used accounts then we have some caveats and tips to help, which you can find here.

Important

Generally, we only recommend grouping accounts together if they are now closed and no longer actively used - so that you can keep their transaction history in your Pocketsmith.

For more information, see this introductory guide: Grouped accounts: An introduction

💡

Dashboard tip: Alternative to grouping accounts

If you are wanting to view certain accounts together e.g. Savings accounts or Joint accounts, you can use the Accounts list widget from the customisable Dashboard to do this without needing to group them.

For more information on this, please see: Tips using the accounts list widget.
