Mastercard is a data provider for Australian feeds in PocketSmith. Mastercard is an Accredited Data Recipient under Australian Consumer Data Right (CDR) open banking, for feeds created after August 2026.
CDR open banking
The Consumer Data Right (CDR) is the regulation and legislative framework for consumer data portability in Australia, most prominently banking data, which is called open banking.
Open banking allows you to securely share selected banking information, such as account balances or transaction history, with trusted financial services like PocketSmith.

All banks in Australia participate in the CDR. Some institutions, including specialist home loan providers and non-bank lenders (such as American Express) are not yet in scope of the CDR, but we likely support them through other access methods.
