This guide is for the new transaction search.

If you don't see this search within your PocketSmith app,  then you are using the legacy transactions search. To learn about the legacy search, head to this guide: Saved searches using the legacy transaction search.

If you would like to change to the legacy transactions search, you can do so from User preferences > Your details and options

Creating a saved search

  1. Select your search criteria and then click SAVE SEARCH
  2. Give your search a name so that it's easy to find later and click SAVE
  3. You'll find this saved search in the left side panel of the Transactions page and on your Timeline (Reports > Timeline)

In the example below, I want to create a saved search for all transactions from my Transaction 14000 account for 2024.


Editing, renaming or deleting a saved search

  1. Head to Category rules, saved searches and filters (Manage > Category Rules, Saved Searches and Filters)
  2. Choose Saved Searches from the left panel
  3. Navigate to the saved search you want to edit, click the three-dot menu and select Edit or Rename or Delete


Changing the display order of saved searches

  1. Head to Category rules, saved searches and filters (Manage > Category Rules, saved searches and Filters)
  2. Select saved searches from the left panel
  3. Hover over the left side of the particular saved search you'd like to reorder, and when the drag handle appears, you can then click and hold to drag and drop the item
