Import failed due to an unknown error
When importing a bank file, you might get the following error message:

Why this error occurs
This error can occur for multiple different issues with the file. Such as:
- Incorrectly selected columns for the CSV format
- Various issues with the format of the file
How to fix
This can be a hard error to fix, and it might just be that your bank provides a file that is formatted incorrectly.
Download and import again
Try downloading from your bank again and re-importing it into PocketSmith without opening it in another application before uploading.
Create and check the new CSV format
Create a new CSV format as shown in this guide: CSV file formats.
When creating this new CSV format, ensure that the correct columns are selected.
