Reset the password on your PocketSmith account
If you have forgotten your password or need to create a password for your PocketSmith account because you are using Google login, you will need to reset the password on your PocketSmith account.
If your account already has a password and you are logged into PocketSmith, you can change your password from the settings, as shown in this guide: Changing the password on your PocketSmith account.
Steps to reset your password
Important
Make sure you have logged out of PocketSmith before trying to reset your password. Click here to logout.
- Click here to go to the password reset page
Enter the email address used for your PocketSmith account and click SEND EMAIL

- We'll send you an email with a link to reset your password - if you can't see this email in your inbox, check your spam folder too!
Open the email and click on the Reset your password link

Important
You must click on the link in the email we send you within 30 minutes of receiving it. If you don't open the email and follow the link within this timeframe, you must request another password reset email.
Enter your new password and re-enter to confirm it and then click SET PASSWORD

You have now changed the password on your PocketSmith account.
Note
If you use a password manager, make sure you update the password in there as well.
Troubleshooting password reset issues
Help! I haven't received my password reset email
If you haven't received your password reset email after a couple of minutes, please check your spam folder. Also, make sure [email protected] has been added to your address book.
If you're still unable to find the email, please get in touch with us!
I've clicked the link in the password reset email, but it doesn't work
Make sure you click on the link in the password reset email within 30 minutes of the email being sent. If you did not open the email and click the link within this timeframe, you will need to request another password reset email.
If you submitted multiple password resets in quick succession, you may not be able to tell which was sent first. Each password reset email sent will automatically invalidate the previous reset email. If you need to resubmit a password reset email for some reason, it's best to wait 5 minutes or so before trying again.
I've changed my password, but the new password doesn't seem to work
Check that your password manager is not auto-completing your password, as it may be using an outdated or incorrect password.
