Share a 1-month trial of PocketSmith with friends and family, and get rewarded with extensions to your PocketSmith subscription 🎉

Overview

Once you've been using PocketSmith for a while, you will gain access to our Tell-a-friend referral program. Share your unique Tell-a-Friend link with your friends and family. When they sign up to PocketSmith with the link you provided, they will get a free 1-month trial of PocketSmith, and you'll get 7 days free added to your subscription 🥂

If your friends find PocketSmith helpful and sign up for a paid subscription after their trial, you will receive a 2-month extension to your own PocketSmith subscription for each friend who signs up ✨

When you want to share your Tell-a-Friend link with someone, you can share your link with them or enter their email address, and we will send them the link.

Copy & paste the Tell-a-Friend link

If you want to send your own message to your friend, copy the link, and paste it into the messenger app of your choosing.

Click on your Tell-a-Friend icon, or, head to your Profile menu > Subscription & upgrade
Select Tell-a-friend in the left side menu. Then click COPY LINK next to the link to save it to your clipboard
Paste the link into your messenger app of choice and send it to your friend

Email the Tell-a-Friend link

We can also send a Tell-a-Friend email directly to your friend

Click on your Tell-a-Friend icon, or, head to Profile menu > Subscription & upgrade
Select Tell-a-friend in the left side menu.
Enter your friend's email and click SEND EMAIL
Your friend then will receive the following email but with your unique Tell-a-Friend link:

Sharing your Tell-a-Friend link (mobile app)

To share your Tell-a-Friend link from the mobile app, scroll down to the Tell-a-Friend widget and tap ' Share Tell-a-Friend link'.

From here, you'll be able to select an app (for example, Messenger, Slack, Whatsapp, etc.) to use for sharing your link with your friends.

Check your Tell-a-Friend invites and rewards

You can see how many people have signed up to PocketSmith with your Tell-a-Friend link, and the subscription extension rewards you have received.

To see this, head to Profile menu > Subscription & upgrade > Tell-a-friend.

At the bottom of the Tell-a-Friend settings, you will see a table showing the following:

Invite accepted - The date someone has created a PocketSmith account using your Tell-a-Friend link
Current plan - The current plan this user has
Your reward - The reward you received for this user
Rewarded date - The date you received the reward
